These are the extensions I currently use. The list is generate by ListZilla (see below) and to Find out what each extension is about hover with the mouse cursor above each link. Also, I will update this list anytime I find something new since generating the list is very easy.
Must haves;
- Adblock 0.5.3.043 - Blocks all ads on the page
- Google Toolbar for Firefox 2.1.20060807W - Name says it all
- Greasemonkey 0.6.5.20060727 - Allows custom scripts to be applied to any page.
- IE Tab 1.0.9.5 - View certain pages in Internet Explorer
- Linkification 1.2.4 - Where emails and other types of addresses have not be linked, this turns them into a link (plain text files etc)
- MinimizeToTray 0.0.1.2006030906+ - Guess what it does!
- SpellBound Development 0.9.8.20060108 - Allows you to spell check text you enter into any text box and does spell checking as you type.
- Tab Mix Plus 0.3.0.5 - Tab browsing in FireFox made easy and powerful.
- Web Developer 1.0.2 - Allows you to do additional operations on all pages (e.g. disable images, outline page structure etc)
Optional
- TargetAlert 0.8.9.7 - visually indicates if the link is word, pdf and many other types
- X-Ray 0.8 - See the code of the page without doing source code view
- Platypus 0.64 - Manipulate any page to the look you want it, next time you visit that page it will now look like you designed it.
- JAJAH - Web-Activated Telephony 1.0.1711 - Name says it
- StumbleUpon 2.83 - Interesting websites to discover…and I have found many gems through this extension.
- Farecompare 0.8.1 - When looking for cheap flight tickets
- Forecastfox 0.9.3 - Weather in your area (works only in US I believe)
- Allow Right-Click 0.4 - Some sites dont allow you to right click on their pages, this overrides this feature.
- ListZilla 0.8 - Lists all your installed extensions
